The woman started talking by telling me at the outset that there was nothing to worry about - when I heard this I wondered if someone I knew had been involved in an accident. Although a few seconds later I was relieved to find that this was not the case, I was also irritated that it was just someone trying to sell damp courses. This is an irresponsible way to start a telesales call. I'm registered with the TPS, so she shouldn't be contacting me anyway.

I'm registered with the TPS so I know that anyone who makes an unsolicited call to try to sell me something can't be trusted. This woman was trying to sell damp courses, and she created a sense of alarm immediately by starting off the conversation by 'reassuring' me that there was nothing to worry about. She asked me if I was the home owner (whether I am or not is none of her business) then got accidentally cut off in mid sentence, presumably due to problems with her phone. It looks like she's only just started making calls, as I'm one of the first to leave a comment here. We need to shut these people down, so I blocked her and submitted a complaint to the TPS immediately.
