THIS INTERRACTION WAS DANGEROUS! The caller was male and sounded Indian. He would not even say who he wanted to speak to! I asked him, "Do you have a contract with anyone here?" he did NOT answer. When I asked him, "Who are you ringing to speak to?" he said, "I am NOT allowed to tell you." I told him, "That's ridiculous!" He started spouting, "I am NOT allowed to tell you because of GDPR Data protection rules..." I said, "Don't be so ridiculous, YOU phoned HERE!" I gave a male Christian name. He said, "Can I speak to Mr, ____" using the Christian name I'd said. I laughed, loudly repeated what he had said and added, "There is no such person!" He hung up. HOWEVER, when I picked up the phone a few minutes later, I did NOT get the dialling tone, but a strange noise, as if he had used the SOUND of someone hanging up, but kept the line open. THAT IS WHY I AM MARKING THIS INTERRACTION AS DANGEROUS!
