A lady phoned, saying she was from Aviva. She knew my name and my home address, but something seemed off. She was clearly ringing from a call centre, as there was a lot of background noise. When I voiced my concern about the cold call and the time of the call, the line went dead. I have blocked this number on my phone

Claimed to be from ‘Sky Network’ and wanting to offer me a 40% discount on my bill. Refused to complete the ID check with them as it seemed off. I provided a spare email address which they then sent a half convincing confirmation email to. Not sure where the scam kicks at this stage, but I said thanks and hung up. Since then I have had mobiles call me without leaving messages which is another red flag.

They said the from three network and my contract sim was gonna be blocked however im on pay as go then ask me for my email address but if they was from three they should know it then he gave me a load of abuse as I said its a scam to get a real job threatening to come to my address in london by all means im only 800 miles away from there so dont give details out mobile networks never call you safer if you call them
