SCAM CALL. I HAVE NEVER BANKED WITH NATIONWIDE, SO THE CLAIM WAS COMPLETELY FALSE. DO NOT TRUST THIS NUMBER.

Received a convincing message claiming a costly Nationwide direct debit had been set up, despite never having held an account with them. It was clearly designed to frighten people into responding and giving away personal or banking information.

Claimed a new Nationwide direct debit was being created. It was completely fraudulent and designed to steal banking details.

Just like other reports, it claimed to involve Nationwide even though I have never banked with them or applied for anything related.
