A recorded voice just said ‘Goodbye’ and then hung up. I only answered as was awaiting a call from this rough area. Suspicions over why someone would do this are high - a) to collect and sell active numbers who answer, or b) because an automated system was dialling numbers but they didn’t have enough agents to take the call. Either way, no legitimate business or person would ever do this, so 100% yet another scam. I’m so bored of them.
