Stated from legal assist. Background noise so presume call centre. They hung up when I said I didn't know who they were, or why they calling me. This call was unsolicited.

Answered the call, they informed me I had a car accident and I can claim compensation. When I asked what accident and what my name is all she said was they only have my phone number and no other info due to data protection. Told her to get a proper job and stop trying to scam honest people and hung up

Scam caller. We have call blocker. when we receive this type of call our phone never rings. An automated Message on our phone will ask for the callers details. If it is a scam the callers always hang up. We are not aware until we see a message on our landline saying we have missed a call, so we are not bothered as our phone doesn't ring. It happens a lot. Honestly, if you don't have it, get call blocker on your phone.
