Someone called James claiming to be my local energy adviser. Clearly not as 01228 is Carlisle! When questioned about why he was ringing a telephone preference number & where he had got it he just kept repeating his script. I cut him off.

Told the caller 3 times I wasn't interested. Did not give her my age or postcode. She rang off when I became annoyed. I will ring off if they call again. I am registered with TPS, but this doesn't seem to stop these calls.

Received a call claiming to be a local energy adviser offering loft insulation. It sounded like a scam attempt and they were clearly trying to pressure me into discussing home improvements. I did not trust the caller and ended the call.

Claimed to be from EDF Energy to book an engineer for a meter reading - I have spoken with EDF and they have denied knowledge of this number.
