Said they were doing safety checks and offering free COVID tests. Sounds like a scam to me!

Woman called asking me by my surname say she was from he crime and prevention dept in West Midlands, offering me a free alert for police fire and ambulance. I said usually these things are done by our local police she said it cost to much money and she is giving it away free.

Tried to say they were doi g safety checks. And wanted to sort free covid tests it's a scam

Just had a call from this number saying they were calling on behalf of some crime prevention body. Wanted to arrange an appointment for a demonstration. Free equipment and free installation, though there would be some maintenance costs "which the adviser would discuss with you". As soon as I asked how she got my number she hung up.
