Indian voice, claimed to be from MyCarClaims and telling me I might be eligible for £700 compensation but first wanted to get some of my details correct. At that point, I declined giving any further info and hung up...(considering I have never taken out a car loan!)

Kept ringing and ringing, stopped answering entirely. Came straight here to look it up and sure enough, another scam.

Trying to push me into having a survey on my home, in relation to insulation turning damp. They would not tell the name of the company they worked for and were not interested in my polite refusals. I ended up just hanging up. It was like talking to a retarded three year old.
