Called saying they were from EE and the sim card I have is no longer supported and will soon be blocked.

Claimed they are calling from my service provider and said they need to cancel my sim card due to reasons that I could not hear, then asked for my post code and I believe other details to follow. I told them to send me letter for any issues, and if they are the service provider they should have all my details. Then cut the line immediately, definitely a scam.
