Asked how old my boiler was then asked all types of personal questions. Whe I told him it's non of his business he became rude and said I must answer to continue. When I told him I was not interested, he hung up. I then blocked the number.

Number initially came up as "Suspected Spam", I answered anyway, initially there was silence then a brief sound of a voice before the line dropped. High probability that call was made by an auto-dialler which then dropped the call automatically because the call handler wasn't quick enough to answer which tends to at least confirm a minimum of telemarketing. As my number is registered on TPS this tends to suggest high probability of spam.

Had a callfrom this number on my home phone. A man said I am Richard Green and am calling about a grant. Tell me how old is your heating boiler I said I don't know. I'll have to go I'm.busy and he must have put the phone down as it went off.

Initially called asking if my boiler had been changed in the last 10 years. Said I was not interested and hung up. They immediately phoned back and proceeded to mutter offensive language. I hung up again but they called me back a third time and continued muttering the offensive language. I told them I could hear them and to leave me alone before hanging up again.

Claim to be from Sky, tell you that you are eligible for 30% discount then send a series of emails confirming THEN offer you a free iPad (I suspect this is the scam as you will need to pay for the courier) !!!!
