Probably scam, called and robot say good bey

They called me pretending to be EE, saying that my 'sim card is no longer in date due to a 5g plus upgrade to the network' -- whatever that means -- and they claimed that they will send me 'a new sim card tomorrow.' I caught them in their lie -- I will not say how, for obvious reasons -- and I confronted their scam, whereupon they immediately hung up. They were Indian scammers with thick, incomprehensible accents.

Pretended to be Vodafone with an upgrade deal. Definitely fake.

My carrier GiffGaff lit it up as a total scam alert so i blocked without a second thought its wild how easy it is to get hit with these fraud attempts around here folks need to stay sharp or risk handing over personal stuff to total strangers which could lead to drained accounts and stolen identities in no time flat.
