i ignored it because unknown numbers are almost always spam lately ive had spam calls every morning this week. it showed as local area but still suspicious.

A badly spoken broken English accent man called John introduced himself, could not understand what he was saying as too much call centre back ground noise, I put him on loud speaker, both my co-workers did not know what he was saying, John eventually hung up as I had to keep asking him to repeat himself

Caller stated they were from National Debtline and 'understood' I had outstanding debt. Told them I worked for Citizens Advice (which I do) and that the National Debtline, a reputable debt advice agency, would not cold call someone. They disconnected call.
