Received a call from this number 20–24 hours ago and immediately noticed red flags. The caller asked for someone by the wrong name, claimed to be from BT or Openreach, and wanted information about my landline or broadband account. They were evasive, gave inconsistent answers, and pressured for simple yes/no responses. On several occasions, they hung up when asked to explain their purpose or provide details in writing. There was often silence or foreign voices in the background, and sometimes the call ended without any message. It’s obvious these are dangerous scammers trying to gather personal information. I have blocked the number and strongly advise others to do the same.
