Left a message to say my Vodaphone contract is up for renewal, which it isn't as I have renewed already so they are definitely not an official partner so must be a scam

User reported 01495 654 487 as Dangerous

Phone call was auto rejected as previously blocked. Definitely a scam. Claim to be from Fonehouse saying my contract with Vodafone is up for renewal. I do use Vodafone, but am on PAYG. Definitely a scam call.

Definitely a scam. Claim to be from Fonehouse and have been calling for weeks saying my contract with Vodafone is up for renewal. Several voicemails left by a woman and details for the number say Pontypool, but when I search online for Fonehouse there is nothing to indicate that they are based in Wales. I was with Vodafone until recently. When I called back a man immediately said "is this (my name)". He somehow knew the new network I've moved to but still claimed that my contract is up for renewal, even though that's obviously impossible. He became very aggressive when I said it was impossible for my contract to still be up for renewal. I hung up on him and called Vodafone using their official customer service line and they confirmed it was a scam.

Fonehouse, Vodafone partner. Called their number on the website who confirmed this is their contact centre.

User reported 01495 654 487 as Dangerous

They told me "we are authorised partners of Vodafone and your contract was up for renewal". I didn't think it was so put the phone down and phoned Vodafone. They confirmed nothing to do with them and my contract is not ready for renewal. They made a note of the number and reporting.

This is a company called Fonehouse, who claim to be working on behalf of Vodafone, dealing with upgrades. I've checked with Vodafone who confirmed my suspicions that this is fraudulent. I told them repeatedly that I would call Voda if and when I wanted to upgrade, but they continued to claim that they are part of Voda. Quite relentless. Rudeness on my part seemed to do the trick.

User reported 01495 654 487 as Dangerous

Scam call. Apparently my Vodafone contract is up for renewal, but I'm not with Vodafone.

Tried to tell me my Vodafone contract was up for renewal. (I upgraded in the Vodafone store 7 months ago) Got very abusive when I told them it wasn’t, shouting at me it is you need to upgrade. Shouted back told them wherever they got their information from was wrong and I didn’t appreciated being harassed on the phone and told I was lying when I know for a done fact my contract does not need renewing. He sharp hung up quick

Got a call saying my Vodafone contract is due for renewal and to call back to discuss it. I don't have a contract with Vodafone so blocked them.

Left a message "Hello this is Fonehouse calling as your Vodafone contract is now due for renewal. To discuss the options call us on 01495 654487" I deal with Vodafone directly and my contract isn't due for renewal. SCAMMERS - do not trust.

Fake. Called pretending to be Vodafone

User reported 01495 654 487 as Dangerous

Said it was Vodafone, but I don’t even have a contract with them. Scam.

User reported 01495 654 487 as Dangerous

They just called me to say my contract was up and i needed to renew, I had to ask which number the caller was referring to as I 3 phones, Anyway she quickly decided to end the call when i started asking questions as i don't have a phone contract with anyone and certainly never had a contract with Fonehouse, so its defo dodgy scammers calling.

User reported 01495 654 487 as Safe

Fonehouse is a legit company, they called me and reduced my bill for me which im very happy with! I will definitely be using them again

User reported 01495 654 487 as Dangerous

Tried to get money out of me

User reported 01495 654 487 as Dangerous

Apparently it's Fonehouse is Pontypool, but the number is owned by a company in S.Africa? So, the chances are it's a scam. No matter, they left no message, so they get blocked anyway.
