Had a call, he said his name was Richard, he was definitely from an overseas call centre, just hung up

Rang whilst driving so didn’t know. Tried to call back as I’m expecting call from company. It didn’t ring and said number is unavailable to try again later. I believe it’s a blag number they are using to scam people in relatively local area. BLOCKED.

Knew name address etc tried to claim they were from British, then after I spoke to her, Scottish gas. Told me what I was paying, tariff, monthly - incorrect figures - saying I was in credit and offered to pay my credit to my Visa card or a cheque to my house. Wasn’t born yesterday! Gas board doesn’t phone you to let you know you are in credit!

Call received from this number to me while at work and logged on. Caller was delayed being connected and claimed to be from Go Compare. Female caller knew my name and address. I put the number though Google and found this website. The delay connecting allowed me to run the number via Google. I disconnected the call and blocked the number.

Claiming to call from Go Compare, knew my personal details so I didn't confirm and instead asked where they got the information from. They became frustrated and said they're calling on behalf of all energy providers as tariff rates are decreasing. Ended and blocked call

Had call just now woman saying electric prices increasing. I said just been announced decreasing. She said will increase due to the Middle East situation. Put me through to a guy who rambled on & when I said tariff sounds good ( though I knew a scam) but will discuss with husband he replied saying ''but I said to you does tariff sound good & you said yes" I certainly wouldn't deal with anyone genuine or not with an ' attitude! Said he'll ring back tomorrow....obviously I won't answer call.. Notice a lot of these scam calls re gas/electric always Scottish Power??

So say go compare about energy bills. Told him I'm on set till july so say no company hasset bills due to the increase. Told.him I'm not interested he kept banging on about energy bills wouldnt listen so I put the phone down.

My mobile phone comes up as Suspected Spam with this number so I don't answer it. If I do answer any numbers that come up as Suspected Spam on my mobile phone they are always Scam Callers and Con Artists so I've stopped answering them now. Some numbers allow me to block them and others don't. Sick of this type of calls.

Obvious scam caller from an overseas call centre. Very pushy and trying hard to keep me on the line. Not legitimate.

Called, started to talk about inflation, didnt know my details, kept asking about my name and address, got both wrong. I asked what it was about and would he share his details with a random caller. He hung up, i blocked. Cold calling exercise clearly
