A caller with a foreign accent kept asking if he was speaking to the homeowner. When I repeatedly asked for his name and company he avoided answering clearly, which made it feel suspicious and unsafe.

A woman asked to speak to the lady of the house. It felt like a scam approach so I blocked it straight away.

Silent call. It could be a foreign call centre trying to sell a warranty on a washing machine I bought - another comment reports a claim to be from Legal and General. I've had many letters about extra cover but never bought it.

Caller with poor English asked to speak to the man of the house. When questioned, he claimed to be from Legal and General regarding appliance care. Did not sound genuine at all.
