This caller claimed to be discussing residence cover that I supposedly took out previously. I do not recognise any such policy and there was no prior agreement. The call felt misleading and designed to make me believe I already had insurance in place. I checked afterwards and found no record of any cover matching the description so I consider this highly suspicious and unsafe to engage with.

SCAMMER!! Beware. Asian sounding male, claims to be from Sky needing to renew your TV cover, then asks to confirm credit card details. Tried to string him along a bit. He said if I give the name of my bank card, he'll tell me the first 4 digits (which he'd know anyway as always the same for each bank), then ask me for the rest of the details. He became rude when he realised I was wasting his time!!
