Woman spoke quietly about mortgage finance. Felt off and not genuine. Ended the call straight away.

Total scam aimed at tricking vulnerable people out of money. Hung up and blocked it. These callers should be stopped.

Said they were from vodaphone and had been having problems so needed to send me new sim. Then asked for my details ie address etc but i declined asking them to email me all the relevant info as how did i know they were really vodaphone!! Line went quiet! Checked out number and it answers with “energy department” (a Stamford dial tone?) but on checking further its from India! Have reported to Vodaphone

Said they were EDF energy asking for a meter reading as their system is down. We're not with EDF but I asked them to provide our account number, which they said they didn't have access to that - bye bye then!

Pretending to be o2 saying sim will be blocked in a few days, my contract is not up yet and when I mentioned this and said ill call o2 directly the caller hung up immediately, some type of scam blocked the number
