Declined the call (phone flagged it as suspected scam). Two further attempts also declined within following 30 seconds.

Missed the call from this number and tried to return it thinking it was a business colleague. Led to an automated AI voice message saying "welcome to energy department" (which isn't even good english) and "Press 1 for an Advisor". If you do press 1, it just enters an endless loop of the 2 repeated messages. Pretty obviously not a bona fide number or outfit.

Automated voice asking can you hear me, typical scam recording so avoided.

Soon discovered that it was an automated male voice, trying to sell loft insulation, when I told 'him' that I didn't have a loft and the voice carried on. I stayed on line and to each question I was asked I replied with stupid answers such as elephant, gooseberry etc. I was told that they'd call me back within half an hour. It's a couple of hours on now and so far they haven't called back so hopefully they won't .

Loft insulation offer but clearly not a real person, responses felt delayed and artificial.
