A South African woman, sounded like she was at home sitting outside, claiming to be from some energy comparison ‘company’. I kind of played along and said I pay £10 a week in electric (even as a single person that wouldn’t be possible with the current rates) because a genuine company would never find a price cheaper than that. She magically found that Scottish Power was better, had amazing savings, I would get half price on weekends, any day 8 hours half price too. She asked me if I wanted to switch over to them, I stated I would want someone from Scottish Power to call me first so I can discuss it with them, claims that's what she meant and she will add someone into the call with us now. I swiftly hung up. That is when the scammers probably attempt to get bank information for a ‘deposit’. This number called me everyday and when I searched for it on google, there were no results shown. However it has been reported on another call website but for some reason suppressed in searches.
