Pretending to be BT from HQ in Newcastle with the right accent talked about cutting off old copper lines and that our phone number was still on it. We are already on VOIP so told him I would deal with it through my own supplier. Then started on about my own supplier charging premium rates. Told him i would ring him back and he gave me his name(Adam Corley) and this phone number. Checked it out and came to this site!!

i checked with my account manager at bt business and this was a genuine call

Pretending to be BT hung up and blocked

They are pretending to be BT going on about cutting off phone lines due to the big switch off. Saying must act now otherwise numbers and broadband will stop working and numbers will be lost. We have had several customers contacted by them, luckily all have not bowed to their efforts and called us, their true supplier.
