The male caller said the warranty protecting my washing machine had expired. I told him it hadn’t and put the phone down.

I keep getting these kinds of calls so annoying ,you know it’s a scam as they never leave message on answer machine

They said my home qualified for special energy efficiency checks. When I asked why, the caller became vague and repeated that it was mandatory. The whole thing felt like an excuse to get access to personal information. They didn’t seem to understand anything I asked and just tried to continue the pitch.
