Received an SMS from my network provider with a passcode. Next, a call from this number. I called the network provider and they told never give my passcode to anyone including them. Be careful!

My one was David not Jed anyway the same scam trying to sell phone contracts and asking for me sort code and account number I give them some random numbers and I guess they still check those numbers I’ve blocked them and reported

Got a text giving me a login number for my o2 account then this number called me right away. I didn’t answer and they didn’t leave a message but the first text from o2 warns about these scams.

This number is yet another of a growing fraudster group operating in the UK doing mass 'feeler' silent calls to test for active numbers using 020 virtual numbers/redirect numbers. DO NOT answer these 020 calls, or you're confirming yourself to them as active and then likely to get fraudster calls from 0345/0333 numbers. Block them and report the numbers.

Classic call-centre calling probably from ths sub-continent spoofing a London or UK number. No one there when answered, then clicks as the multiple call operator cuts in and tries to claim you'd like to speak to a phone company in a barely understandable Indian accent. Irritating isn't the word.
