Received email on 11 Dec saying a payment has been suggessfull to Surrey company named Spring electrical Ltd £734.82. I have account with Halifax did wonder how they had done it as don't really use it

Mail on unauthorized entry to bank setup but i aint got one there.

They just scammed my mum! she's in her 70's and they asked her to confirm a payment so they could put it back. They registered her card on, Booking.com, Ticket Master and Nike, sounds like they wanted a night out! Good job we cancelled the card just in time! Be aware folks

Said they were from Halifax Builing Society, scam, Halifax is a Bank converted over in 1997.. Scammers try anything. Be wary all.
