I hung up at first,I thought it was a scam. However I checked with Halifax, and they had blocked a bogus payment in America, they've ordered me a new card.

Hung up both times suspect spam call left voice mail saying about a declined payment some 1 tried haking my bank account

Automated call with my full name and card number. I called my bank's fraud department immediately, and they confirmed that two companies were attempting to access my account. Call Your Bank!!!

Haven't answered so cant really say whether good or bad...but I'd happened to have had a failed payment on my lloyds account earlier that day so Reading on here as left me confused? Should I have answered as its abit of a coincidence 🤔 Confused either way....or just cautious ⚠️

Received 2 automated message calls from this number today. Purported to be from Halifax Bank asking to talk to my wife about a declined payment! DO NOT SPEAK TO THEM. VERY SUSPICIOUS!

Left a message saying card refused, press 1 to check. Phone again a short while later with the same message. Suspected scammer - blocked.
