I answered and there was a short delay with background voices before someone spoke asking how I was and then started giving a vague reason for calling. It felt like a call centre scam and not genuine at all. Definitely avoid.

They were pushing a car finance compensation claim, saying I may have been mis sold finance and offering to help me claim money back. It sounded like a typical claims scam so I would avoid.

Claimed to be about previous PCP car finance which I have never had. There was a long silence before the caller began speaking quickly from what sounded like a script. Definitely suspicious.

Missed a couple of calls so I answered the next one thinking it might be urgent. It was someone asking about my life insurance, claiming I had left my details in a survey. I have not done any such thing. Unwanted sales call.
