Asked about housing repair issues I had reported. There are none. Hung up when I said he must have wrong number. Blocked the number.

I keep hearing about these housing disrepair scams and this call fit the pattern. It’s worrying because some people fall for it so easily, so best to get it reported whenever possible.

Unsolicited call from a London number, with a "transatlantic" accent for the caller about a call I'd logged. Queried why he was ringing me and he tried to persist (bless his little cotton socks) and asked again why he was calling so he hung up. Must be the season for eejits.
