Claimed to be from housing repairs and asked about damp issues.... when I asked for the address of the property they were referring to I was told they may have the wrong number and then put the phone down..... Clearly a scam call.... don't answer.

Caller claimed to be from a housing repairs service. The approach matched previous scam reports and appears to be another attempt to mislead people into discussing fake repair issues.

Experienced the same script as the comments above and when i questioned what housing association they were from, the man doubled down quite aggressively that he was calling from the council (not a specified council mind you) on behalf of the housing aassociation (again wouldn't specify). I live with family in a private house. Always good to interrogate and pin point exactly who is calling you and if an unknown caller is unwilling to identify themselves, and behaves in a hostile manor towards you, hang up.

I was expecting a call from someone about a property issue so when they said they said they were from "housing services" I wasn't surprised and continued the call. When their first question was "what kind of issues I was having" I realised this was a cold call and hung up. No idea what the endgame was.

Caller claimed to be from a housing agency regarding damp problems. I ended the call as it sounded suspicious.
