An Indian sounding man claiming to be Marcus James from Amazon asked if I had ordered an iPhone which needed security checking before being dispatched. Asked me to check cancellation code on What’s App. I put phone down.

Repeated calls received without any voicemail being left, leading to suspicion and eventual blocking

Caller with a foreign accent claimed to be from Amazon regarding purchases that supposedly needed account verification. I explained that I do not have an Amazon account, which made the call appear highly suspicious and likely fraudulent.

Claimed to be from Amazon customer services and said an iPhone purchase was being processed. They wanted me to confirm details to stop the transaction. I refused and asked for written verification instead. Clearly an attempt to trick people into giving away personal information.
