Claiming to be from BT strong South Asian accent. As I am not a BT customer obvious scam

Called twice today with second call a few digits different, still Indian accent so hung up before responding

rude and shouting when i refused to speak with them and mentioned we are registered with the tps service, i would imagine they will call back !

Told me they had evidence I was being overcharged for electricity - why they are ringing me up from Bangladesh to tell me this I have no idea - still I pressed on "how much by?" " Sorry sir can you repeat that?" "Yes, how much am I being overcharged by?" They then told me to F O. and hung up. I don't believe they were from EDF .

Thick asian scammers calling me brother and other bs, cc terminal scam

they were apparently calling from EDF saying they want to change my smart meter, they didn't understand English properly and kept on not understanding me. most likely a scam.

This was their story. Rang to say they were from National Grid & we needed our meter replacing at our main office postcode. In the UK meters are replaced via your supplier so this didn't ring true. The mannerisms of the person on the line was not quite right so I asked a few questions. I was then told to "shut up" and they ended the call. I do wonder what the called would have gone onto request.
