Indians pretend to be 3 mobile. Initial call obtains your details (email, contact no, address), then say a different dept will call you back. When the "different department" calls, they send a code via text so they can access your 3 account. They knew about an upgraded (cheaper) Broadband to a £17 a month & also knew I had a 3 router to return. They offer a free gift (Apple watch/iPad), uttter bulls#@t! Beforehand they text a hyperlink to your mobile & when you open it, an official looking 3 webpage appears, the webpage asks you to make a refundable payment of 0.01p to 3, and this is where you're prompted to input your 16 digit card no, expiry date & CCV code, then scammers have your debit card details. Additionally, they charge £10:75 (appears as Royal Mail), urging you to open your banking app to clear "Verified by Visa." There was also an item (£900 iPhone 17) in my 3 account basket too. Reported to my bank, card cancelled. Item removed from basket & scam reported to three mobile.
