A person rang claiming to be from Vodafone, asking if I had any complaints about my signal. I said he was silly ringing up someone whose network wasn't Vodafone.

This was odd. I answered the phone and heard an automated message saying 'goodbye' before it hung up. I think my number may have been spoofed.

This was obviously a scam straight away. The caller said they were calling from EE, asked if I was happy with my network coverage, and offered me a discount.
