Said was from my Mobile provider and they would be sending out a new SIM card as mine was quite old and would soon stop working properly. Seemed fishy, but I said, by all means send me something in the post. Then he asked if I would be in to recieve it in person at 9am tomorrow morning which seemed very fishy as I don't know why I'd need to recieve it in person, or, if signed for by post how they would know exactly when the post would arrive. I said no I would be at work, and the caller seemed happy and said thats fine we can just put it in the mail box. Then asked for my post code, at which point alarm bells rang - I said haven't you got my address? He said yes, but we need you to confirm, and said as this is a cold call I'm not comfortable handing out my personal info over the phone at which point he immediately hung up, no explanation, no sorry, no goodbye. Suspect phishing, worryingly for my address and the knowledge of what time I wouldn't be at home. Concerning.

Caller claimed to be from a mobile provider and said the SIM card would be blocked soon. The explanation given did not make sense and felt like an attempt to create urgency and panic.
