Caller stated that my elderly mother had recently had money taken out of her account. Caller then provided details of two alleged money amounts had been taken. Luckily my elderly mother put the phone down.

Yet again another scam call about loft insulation. Suspect picking on us old and vulnerable.

Silence at first, then a recorded voice introduced itself as John, a local energy advisor. I interrupted the message and the call ended immediately.

A rude caller asked for the health and safety manager by name, then immediately questioned whether they had the correct person. It felt like a cold call rather than legitimate business.

No message left when answerphone kicked in, except "Thank you for calling" a typical call-centre robot response. Will block, but they'll call again on another number 10th such call since end June, all different numbers and we're TPS registered.
