I let them know that the government department they eventually told me they were from didn't exist and I would talk to the BMA directly. Note - the tactics they use 1. Give a formal sounding department "Health care " 2. Reassure you that they aren't asking you to sign up for anything or pay for anything. 3. Start asking leading questions about potential issues with your healthcare provider. This is obviously data mining - they are looking for personal information to flesh out profiles to sell on the dark Web including they have access to your voice print (which they are no doubt recording). Never say yes, never provide your name or any personal details and if you can use a funny voice. Most of all report it to your phone service provider.

Someone called Micheal called me Claiming to be from the NHS. Asking me if I was Happy with my GP. Told her I was not speaking about my Gp As it was Private. Straight away she hung up. I had already blocked a previous number that morning

The call was automatically flagged and blocked as suspected spam by my provider. Similar numbers have been attempting to contact me recently. Exercise caution if this number calls you.

Claimed to be from the BMA! Asked about Covid vacc side effects- hung up when challenged

Claiming to be from the NHS. Asked if they were talking to Mr acftus, which part of my email address!! Wanted to know if I had any side effects from the COVID jab. When I suggested this was a scam call they hung up.
