Just had a phone call person asking to speak to my husband but he has died 16 months ago stating I was able to get a refund of £1800, never had finance, told him no thanks and put his phone number in the 1572 bin, so I hopefully should not get another call from them, a bit frightening as I am nearly 80 years old.

Called me stating I was intitled to a refund of £1800 due to being missold car finance 25 years ago, wouldn't listen when i said i wasn't interested, he started telling me my address and post code and I should listen to what he was saying, told him again I wasn't interested, he tried to tell me i had enquired about being missold car finance last year, I've never done so, told him I was ending the call because it was a scam, he started to get stroppy so I just cut him off, it is definitely a scam because I have never had finance, I've always paid cash for any car I've bought so be very aware and very carefull of this call, dangerous.

Caller rang saying I had £1800 refund owing me from a car finance company, Knew my name, d.o.b..address, post code then gave me an incorrect email address, asked if that was right....just said 'no' but would not give any information, said I knew it was a scan, caller started getting stroppy then line went dead......BEWARE....
