I don't usually answer unknown numbers, but decided to pick up this time. Caller had a heavy accent, claiming to be from O2. Seemed fishy.

Call from 01257825058. Said they were O2 Telefonica, they used my Christian name (not a common name). This is not a standard scam they must be using information stolen from an active database to make the call convincing.

** SCAM HANG UP NOW ** tried to get me to give them a security code to access my 02 account. Reported to 02 who confirmed it is 100% a scam. If this number calls you block them immediately and contact the company they claimed to be calling from to report them.
