Claimed to be from Asda asking if I had any issues due to not placing an order since February and wanted to know if I’d be ordering again

Claimed to be ASDA groceries. Clearly a scam and upon looking either into this number there’s repeated reports online that show it’s a scam.

Called this eve, called back thinking someone else and went to voicemail saying for ESTAS

Clearly there was a data breach at Asda, every instance of this phone number i can find online is tied to the same scam. "There have been multiple security incidents related to Asda, but the most prominent ones are a 19-year-old website vulnerability from 2016 that could have exposed personal and payment data, and a more recent issue in 2023 where the Asda Rewards app saw users report missing cash rewards and login issues, which prompted Asda to add mobile number verification. Additionally, there are concerns about potential future breaches following job cuts in the company's tech team" can see this being the case in 2025 since Asda absolutely atrocious the past 4 years. this scammer has your number because of Asda's nearly 20 year old website, cutbacks and layoffs.

received call 0830. Claimed to be ASDA and about booking a slot for Christmas deliveries. Reason for call said to be based on delivery last year. I did not have a delivery last year, it was a 'one off' click and collect from a store 40 miles away. Caller had fairly well educated India accent ( I worked in India for a while). I watch scam Interceptors. Did not comment just hung up. Blocked call.

Called at 8.30 am didn’t answer but kept calling

Had a call from this number today saying it was about Christmas deliveries and I could reserve a slot by ordering an item and checking out. They appeared to have some of my previous ordering details and information. Now blocked.
