Femail caller clamed to be from British Gas.. I first could not hear her due to very loud people in background. Asked her to repeat and she said "This is British Gas about your maintenance contract. How is your boiler ?" I told her I do not have a maintenance contract.wfuith British Gas. The line immediately went dead. I have blocked further calls from this number with BT 1572. No further calls so far.

No voicemail left, just an empty ring. I’ve had enough of these so it went straight onto the block list.

Really bad scammers, barely made sense when they went off script.
