scam e mailer i do not have a nationwide account they claim to have set up direct debit same as all above please forward to Suspicious Email Reporting Service (SERS) at report@phishing.gov.uk. to try to stop these robbers and prevent vulnerable from being robbed

Telling me a direct debit has been set up for a large amount ,to Prestige dental care.

E mail received on 13/07/26 purporting to be from Santander...e mail looked genuine. Stated a direct debit had been set up on my Santander account for £1290.42. The email advised me to ring 01434 239674 if I had not authorized this transaction.

I received 2 identical emails on 09/07/2026 from a company called Prestige Dental Care telling me that a direct debit had been set up on my Santander account for £1290.42, oops, I don't have an account with Santander. The email advised me to ring 01434 239674 if I had not authorized this transaction. If I were to ring this number I bet I would be talking to the scammers.

Email received today stating that there was an unauthorised attempt to log into my on line banking app asking me to phone this number to prevent funds being taken. It found itself into my Junk/spam folder which arroused my suspitions.

Email received from a suspicious email address appearing to be from Nationwide (I don't even bank with Nationwide) stating that they have successfully set up a direct debit for £879.99 to Northampton Dental Practice and suggesting that if I haven't set up the direct debit I should contact their dedicated team immediately by phone this number.

Email received today 6 July 2026 supposedly from Nationwide saying they'd set up a Direct Debit for £879.99 per month payable to a Northampton. Dental Practice .They give a number to call if this wasn't you.Do NOT call the number this is a scam! !

I received this e-mail on 03.07.2026. Checked the Number on this site and it seems lots of others have received similar mails indicating a Direct Debit has been set up with Nationwide to on Behalf of a Dental Practice in Southamton to take £879.99 from their accounts. Do NOT ring this number! it is a dangerous scam.

Scam. This number was on an email from ‘Nationwide’ but the email address was ibrahim@alhosnigroup.com. It says I have set up a direct debit for 879.99 a month at Northampton dental practice. I live in Scotland.

Very similar to other comments. Received a spam email after a recent hack on my email saying a direct debit had been set up for a monthly payment of over £500 to a dental practice in Northamptonshire. The email was from an address starting Sara.basafu (apologies I did not write the full address before I completely deleted the email). I did not ring the number

Just like the others, received email from"Nationwide", direct debit set up for £879.99 and I don't even bank with Nationwide. Email was from Nationwide [mailto:nicole.hsieh@techdesign.com] Forwarded it to:- 'phishing@nationwide.co.uk' & 'report@phishing.gov.uk'

This was in a scam email, purporting to be Nationwide...from a bakerm at charlottenet.org email address... This has been passed to phishing dot gov dot uk. ...but the phone number is also showing as a link...so beware. At the very least they may be making you call a premium number for their profit.

As with the others above, I received an email, allegedly from Nationwide, stating a direct debit for £879.99 had been set up for a dental practice about 100 miles away! The number was shown on the email. Falsely stated he was Nationwide, but when he realised I wasn't with them, he disappeared without so much as a 'Goodbye'
