Bank Holliday friday here in the UK,and this number has rang me three times today was tempted to answer as this is the local area code of my hometown..number blocked.

This is a PCP scam from India. Your name, address, car reg and finance agreements are available from such as myEquifax. They are using these details but don't have any more. Get above them. String them along and they finally cut the call. I asked them their location and the reply "central london" dud not match the std code of Grimsby.

car finance scam. want you to send your driving licence to them but insist you need to do this to get a reference number. They have enough relevant detials to appear to know your car details and personal details when asked. best to block and avoid them.

Likely scammers. Claimed to be calling about a financial/car claim and possible compensation, but were very vague and started asking for personal details such as date of birth. When I said I do not give out personal information over the phone, they hung up.

claiming to be from the FCA, this is a scam related to the car finance refund stuff. they had my car reg, name and home address and tried to get me to click a link they sent me via text.
