Claimed to be from SSE wanting information about our meter. We had our smart meter fitted 2 years ago so any info is automatically transmitted to our Supplier. Obvious scam. Refused to take no for an answer so blocked after calling me 4 times in less than a minute!! Harassing & rude!

Claimed to be from EDF Energy and wanted me to confirm our supply number - I hung up.

Constantly kept calling place of business even though i was unwilling to confirm or give any information the female caller was persistent and ignoring what i was saying, she said she needed information about meter readings as the invoice were not correct, I ended the phone call and rang back to double check it defo was not british gas and it went through to national helpline. the female called back and kept saying it was a very important phone call. typical indian call centres. I told them not to call back and hung up

Deceitful. Pretended to be our energy supplier YU Energy. Asked questions relating to our account to gather information. Already had our MPAN number. Always start the conversation saying they are from your energy supplier then progress to say they are having technical problems and need to confirm a few details. Had this type of call from another number 3 times in 2 days. Caught on after the 1st call.

They rang saying they are Eon metering dept, asking questions they should have already had the answers too rang eon they agreed it wasnt them so dont give out infomation to them. When you call their number it says national helpline and cant press through to someone

Claiming to be our energy provider but asking for information they'd sent us on their invoices - potentially in an attempt to get hold of our account details so they could raise bills on our account

Claimed to be from British Gas, obviously not.

Fake energy adviser claiming nearby properties qualified for loft insulation checks. Clearly nuisance scam activity.
