Had a call from "Michael", with a pronounced Indian accent, wanting to talk about my heating account. Wouldn't say which company he was calling from.

Just had a call from this number about a diabetic eye screening which I opted out of. They said they are part of the NHS. Said they are sending me paper work as they need it in writing that I am opting out.

My wife had an eye test on 12Nov and after it she was referred to this specialist for further checks. On 17Nov they were very prompt at calling us to fix an appointment after the eye test. When they tried to contact me after the appointment it was blocked so they had to call me on my mobile so my wife could explain and get an answer to her query. No AI bot involved.
