The caller from this number came up on my phone as Keith, Scotland. He said he was from Water Plus and knew my (old) email address and account name (I run a scout group). He wanted me to reconfirm my account details. When I said that I would wait for his email and confirm by email he hung up. Luckily, I changed email address only a few weeks ago. Not to be trusted.

Claimed to be from Eon but sounded suspicious so I refused and said I would contact the company directly instead.

Claimed to be from British Gas and wanted to discuss renewal options. I knew this wasn't true and advised I was going to call British Gas directly. The male offered a number for me to call, however I advised I would use the number from one of our bills. Avoid.

Claimed to be from an energy company and asked for my email address to send new prices. Seemed untrustworthy so I refused.
