Lady almost south African accent I think, called me twice now from landline and this number. Scary because she has all my information home address everything. Ist time said was ppi refund for car finance which I've never used, but she knew I'd had a ppi bank refund and the amount I'd received 10yrs ago! I was shocked dubious immediately about call. I ended call. Todays call same woman confirmed my name an address although error said today she said Court instead of Road then she terminated call before I could say anything. Is ppi refunds info publicly available? Scary thought indeed nothing is private anymore!

I received a call saying that I was owed £1800 for car finance as my husband had completed the form to them on line. That was such a lie as my husband would not have done that as he doesn’t drive. I asked if they were going to send me the money and they hung up.

All they want is your money they can't even speak properly

They said they owed me money from a car financial compensation scheme. I never bought a car through a financial scheme. He knew my name and when I've asked him why he's trying to scam people he hang up.

Call from Asian sounding female saying I was owed £1800 on vehicle finance. She got the name and address correct but the call was nonsense. My response was " lovely, send me a cheque" then hung up before the expected request for bank details. POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS !
