Called twice, both times it came up as suspected scam. First time picked up no answer so ended call. Second time answered and lady speaking. Saying she is from uk assistance and saying I had been in a car accident and was not at fault and needs to send a cheque but before they can, they need to verify. Sounded sketchy so asked what my number plate is and which incident she’s referring to, said she can’t say as they’re a third party and we’re only told it was in the last 18 months. She transferred me to a man, he I asked him same thing and asked which incident. He said the one you weren’t at fault for in the last 18 months I said I was at fault, he said oh sorry we must’ve gotten it wrong, I asked how can you get is wrong how has this happened and he cut the call. SCAM!!! Be cautious, may then ask for you home address or personal details that would then lead to scamming!
