They called me saying they were from O2 and needed to confirm my account details. I don't even have an O2 account! Blocked them right away.

Just got another call from this number, they left a voicemail claiming to be my mobile provider. Not falling for it.

Claimed to be from O2. I am not an O2 subscriber, although my number is ported from them. So probably taking a (wrong) guess.

Fraud. This is an Indian call centre posing as your mobile provider. They pretend to send a promo code, but they've actually used your mobile number to get a security code from your phone company, which gets texted to you. They then try and get that security code from you, to gain access to your mobile account to make fraudulent purchases and see your banking details.

Asked to send a text to my phone with a code to enter into the phone to them. I denied. Very pushy people on the phone. Blocked contact.
