Called me asking if I had damp or mould, I thought, let’s see how long I can keep them on the phone. Asked for my name and address, the foreigner then said “you are wasting our time”. Some fruitful words came out after that…

Strong Indian accent, very difficult to understand. When I asked him to repeat who he was, he hung up. So most likely a scammer. I blocked the number.

Phoned about a housing issue. Apparently I had reported damp and mould. I led him on a bit as I was feeling a bit bored.. then told him where to go! They have since called back today and I have blocked the number.

I couldn't understand what the woman was saying to start with. Very heavy accent. Said she was a housing repair officer. By the time I caught her meaning she rang off. Clearly 'ambulance chasers' and a scam.
