Claims to be John from Worthington, or John Worthington. He couldn't make up his mind. Was very persistent that he had had previous conversation with my MD- this was in fact a lie as he would have had to go through me to get to the MD. Then ended the call with "does your phone do this" how immature, even if my MD had of done business with yourselves we definitely wouldn't now

Guy called Jay Smith called. Said something about touching kids. Seems like a nice lad.

Called asking for the directors by full name - I asked what company or what it was regarding - he said his full name and said the director should know what its about -asked which company he was calling from - he hung up. Like most of the comments we dont just pass the call without details or when somebody is asking for the directors name in full so clearly was some sort of cold call sales pitch.

Called our company wanting to speak to our director. I questioned where he was calling from (seemed apparent this was clearly a sales call) and what the call was about multiple times (our director doesn't usually take calls and I wanted to either direct him to the appropriate person or relay the necessary information) he was unwilling to disclose this and was particularly abrupt and rude.

Called asking for the owner. I asked who was calling he said Jamie. I said Jamie, who, Jamie Smith from Smiths. I said what the call regarding is... he told me to shut the f**k up and hung up,

Called our office several times this today, asking for directors by name and claiming he knows them. This number has now been blocked on our phone system.

Female has called multipple times from this number saying her name is Brooke and calling from a company called JAMIE. Asks to speak to the Director by name and told her he is a silent partner so she then hangs up as clerly doesnt have any other information available than what is available on Companies House.

She asked for my managed (asked by name), as she said she has spoken to my manager before and she was asking for my manager but it was clear that she had not spoken to my manager before, as she identified my manager to be female, which is not true. She also claimed to have broken her mobile phone and she was calling from a landline which was strange as the call came from a mobile number. When she was about to mentioned her name again she accidentally said "Brooke" i asked who is Brooke, she said that was her full name. I laughed at her because it was clear that this was a scam call and she was lying, she got annoyed at me and told me that when she does speak to my manager she would tell "her" how unhelpful and rude the receptionist was. before i could ask her to remove our details from her system she put down the phone.

A young man called saying his name was Tom from Clarks asking to speak to one of our directors insisting he would know what the call was about (a previous conversation). "Tom" became very aggressive and rude insisting that I do my job properly and put him through - lol. I said "goodbye Tom" and hung-up. Low life.

A Brook Turner (proper a**hole) called on 2 numbers, this one and 02045765263, multiple times requesting to speak to the director of the company. When I pushed back and said my director has received no calls or e-mails what details do you have, she hung up. I decided to call back the little Bit*h and she starts shouting at me. Always fun to rile up a little scamming B*t*h.

A phone call from a man claiming to be from the 'Broadband Community Organisation' - never actually heard of such an organisation. Stated he wanted to update their records about our phone system and asked how many phones we have connected to our landline. I'm sorry, what?? Who are you?? This sounds bizzare. So I say 'Okay bear with me one moment please', pop him on hold, and he immediately hangs up. Weird AF...

Called my personal number asked for the Owner of my worker. Said his name was Tom it was urgent and personal.

Claimed to be Tom Clark from Clark's. Asked for one of our directors by name, saying the call was regarding a previous call that they'd had. Our director told me he had never heard of Tom nevermind spoken to him. Told the called that the director wasn't available, so they asked when he would be. I told him I didn't know. so he said to leave it with him and then hung up.

Using any tactic possible to speak to a director. Wouldn't let me know what it was for. Says he was called Chris Knight calling from Better re works being carried out in the local area by the local exchange. I said I wouldn't put the call through, and as office manager I could help him. Says he'll call back. Polite but pushy

We get called by this company on a regular, mainly calls himself Tom and asks for my director. When I ask who is calling he says Tom from Clarks. I then ask what it's regarding and he says it's about a previous phone call, I tell him my boss isn't interested and he says how do you know. He then starts getting rude, I ask him to remove our number and he says I can but you will be getting another call again next week. I told him he was a very bad at cold calling and that he will never get to speak to the director.

Someone by the name of Jamie called my office from this number. He asked to speak to director and claimed to have spoken to the director before and when i asked where they are calling from, he said in an aggressive tone "you don't need to know" this upset me very much and right then i knew it had to be a scam of some sort. I told him i will find out what company he's calling from and he responded "you will never find me!", i then put the phone down.
