I was called form 0800 479 0758 by someone saying they were from Sky. They were offering a cheaper Sky Protect contract. After listening to some very tedious T&Cs they wanted to confirm my bank account details. They had my sort code and the last four digits of my account number and wanted me to confirm my first four digits! At this point I said absolutely not! If they were truly from Sky, they would already have all my bank details as the real Sky debit my account every month! So be careful of this number!!

Same as others, claimed to be from Sky asked for name and address, then to confirm my bank details, at this point i refused and he said never mind don't worry. Claimed to be called Glen and had a Scottish accent

Just received a call from this number third time this month but today I picked up im so suspicious of these calls I let him go on about offers etc then my inner danger warning went up so I hung up please everyone beware as he sounded really convincing

Said it was a courtesy call from sky as I had skyQ for a certain period I could now have new apps added. Didn’t continue call when person asked me to confirm all my personal details. To be honest even if it was Sky they be messed us about so much with incorrect billing (charging us for services they offered for free!) that I m certainly not interested so will block

Said was from Sky. Wanted to update me on what i could now access. Most i had not heard of & wasn't bothered about. At the end of the call wanted sort code & account no. that would be used at the end of the 3 month free trial. Why would he want bank details as Sky already have that to pay for my subscription on direct debit. Said i did not have to hand & call me later when i was home. Caller said he was from Sky to inform me of new products on my account. Informed me of new apps (not new) and Sky VIP which I already knew about. Then , offered me 3 months free insurance on TV , Sky equipment and my lap top . I asked what happens after 3 months and he said £9.99 is charged but not o my Sky account.. but to a different supplier for which I would need to supply bank details for Direct Debit. That confirmed my suspicions and told him I was not interested and he wasn’t going to get my bank details. Caller now blocked.

Rang twice and hung up after reading other people's messages I would class this number as dangerous as anyone calling under false pretentious is dangerous and as I have nearly been a victim of fraud before I refuse to answer any calls I don't recognise and advise others to do the same and never click on a link on any txts emails or messages you receive, stay safe everyone.

Keep getting phone calls from this number. They either hang up or there is no answer. I contacted Sky and they said it is a dud number not one of theirs. It is a fraud.

Calls 2 or 3 times a day. Have blocked number. Another site said it was linked to virgin media. Not with them. Have now blocked number.
